That seems like a mondo to me, actually.

Hi, Xila! Quick query, in what sense are you using the word "mondo?"

Also, props to Good Rev. Roger for inspiring today's punchline.

Ah, I see you must not have read the Principia Discordia as I thought you may have due to your comic.

Mondo: something that seems to make sense but the more you think about it, becomes more confusing. One great example of a mondo (as used in the Principia Discordia) is the saying: "The world can tell a snake from a dragon, but you cannot fool a Zen monk!"

So, "Nothing is ever complete, not even transcendence" is a great mondo as transcendence is to become complete, but you may never be able to reach it so it isn't but if you don't try how can you know? And it just goes around and around. Hence, it is a mondo. :D

For further confusion on this subject I direct you to "The Principia Discordia or How I found the Goddess and What I Did to Her when I Found Her."

I love this comic, by the way. Funny and thought provoking and wonderfully random. I still have not figured out the whole underwater part yet. :D

Thanks so much! And if you can figure out why a skeleton is swimming around talking to aquatic animals, you're a wiser person than I.
